Many blind riders found mentors who were willing to work with them and help them to achieve their competitive dreams.
We, AQHA, have four or five visually challenged riders who compete in our disabled classes. . . We also have a legally blind individual who is a heeler in our team roping. He rarely misses, he wears a head set and is in communication with a ground person who tells him when he should pitch that loop.</description>
